Why Strength Training & Conditioning is Important

August 20, 2017

Whether you're looking to tone up or gain size, it's ideal to evenly distribute the workload to all the main muscle groups in the body. These are just a few of the many reasons why you should prioritize strength and conditioning techniques:

1. Lessens the chance of injury.

Proper form is essential to specify the working muscle groups, in addition to tendons, ligaments & bones. To understand body mechanics is to understand the importance of incorporating the balance of isolation and multi-joint exercises that will prevent injuries or discomfort.

2. Improvement of your posture.

Adding from point one, A good health & wellness coach will teach the client the importance of corrective posture throughout the entire movement (exercise). Practices of proper exercise alignment at the gym will likely be practiced the same in day-to-day activities outside of the gym.

3. Increased fitness

consistency in a strength & conditioning program will increase muscle density, size & shape. It can increase your metabolism, which may decrease body fat & release endorphins to enhance mood.
