Potassium & it's Benefits

Potassium is one of most important macronutrients that one must consume. It stands side by side with the others such as: calcium, sodium, and magnesium just to name a few. For the average adult, its best to consume at least 4,700 milligrams of calcium daily for normal bodily functions.

 

   The primary function of potassium is the constant flow of bodily fluids, in addition to the electrical activity of the heart and other major muscle groups. It is considered an electrolyte, which also helps aide regular blood pressure and heart rhythms. You may supplement it as a means of receiving the daily recommended doses, but you may also receive potassium from these food items:
