My Story (Sofar.....)

      Each and everyone's story is unique. We all come from different walks of life, different struggles, and different victories that come as a result from our struggles. The best gift is the opportunity to take what you've learned and educate the world, that it may spark motivation and determination to combat their daily struggles, only to overcome their fights as well.

    My journey began in May of 2003 when I weighed 210 lbs post high school graduation. I wanted to make it a priority to lose weight & "tone up" since I wasn't happy with the way I looked physically. With the assistance of a personal trainer and an amazing support system, I managed to cut down over 50 lbs in a year period:

    This was a result of consistent resistance training and cardio protocols, and most importantly, NUTRITION. I managed to cut out almost all simple carbohydrates & transitioned to eating lean protein and complex carbohydrate sources. Mind you, I was entering my first semester of college & dealing with my mother's unfortunate illness. With these stresses on my plate, I had to find the will and desire to "get my but in gear" to meet the goals that I've set for myself.

  It was during this period I decided to dedicate my life to helping others who needed that additional "push" to get them closer to their health & wellness goals. With the proper college & certification educational tools, I was able to certify myself as a Personal Trainer and obtain a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida UCF (Orlando, FL). Since then, with over 10,000 sessions under my belt & counting, I've been given the opportunity to change others lives in health & wellness. 

 

(2010)

 

     Through onsite, online, and group fitness settings, the goal of helping others hasn't changed. My personal health & wellness goals has also been a priority since it's imperative to "practice what you preach". By doing so, it's letting my clientele be aware that I'm in the fight just as much as they are. 

 

     From those who looking to lose weight, build strength & muscular structure, to those who want to transition to a healthier lifestyle, it's been more than an honor to be given this opportunity to be a voice of assistance to each and every person I have the chance to train. 8 years later and to me it's not just a job, it's my life and I wouldn't have it any other way.
