The importance of Breakfast

March 28, 2017

When it is said "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" you should take it quite literally. Numerous studies have concluded its long term benefits which include: reducing overweight chances, lower the high blood pressure risk, and lessen the chances of becoming diebetic.

breakfast kickstarts your metabolism, which is essential to maintaining your bodyweight. In other words, a meal first thing in the morning provides you with the energy to begin your regular day activities. It gives you the necessary focus needed for school or work.

"Throwing off" or skipping your morning meal can change the body's ability to maintain its balance. In other words, keeps your blood sugar low and  unfortunately limit the energy your muscles and brain needs in order to function properly from the jump.

Also take into consideration the essential vitamins & minerals that the body needs, especially earlier in the day. Hence the term "well balanced breakfast". Make this meal important. Balance the body with a mixture of lean protein, complex carbohydrates & essential fats to replenish and fuel the mechanism that is the car, your body.

For one to say "I don't have time" or "I'm not hungry in the morning" are missing the point. The chances of a mid morning-to-mid day crash is likely & creating a deficiency in the important vitamins and minerals is likely to follow suit.

PRIORITIZE, PRIORITIZE, PRIORITIZE.
